Omaha Fire Department stations held one minute silence to remember 9/11

OMAHA, Nebraska – This Sunday marks the 21st anniversary of the attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001.

At 9:11 in the morning, all of the fire stations in Omaha observed a moment of silence in memory of the tragic tragedy. to honor the people who passed away on that tragic day.

It is a time for firemen all throughout the country to reflect on the bravery of first responders who put their own lives on the line in order to save others.

Captain Tony Siedlik of Station #34 said, “We think about what the men and women accomplished, the bravery that they had,” and this is something that everyone at the station does. “The police officers, and everyone else, in the hopes that if we were to be confronted with something like that, we would be able to do the same thing.”
