Omaha and Lincoln residents have just experienced the highest recorder fall temperatures

OMAHA, Nebraska – As of 3 p.m., new record high temperatures have been established in Omaha and Lincoln.

Omaha reached a record-breaking 97 degrees at 3 p.m., shattering the record established just a few years ago in 2018.

Lincoln is seeing its second 100-degree day in a row, with temperatures reaching 102 degrees so far. The previous record was 96 degrees, which was established in 2016.
