Ohio’s 2022 general election is fast approaching and this is what it’s going to be on the ballot

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The 2022 general election in Ohio is quickly approaching. Here is everything you need to know to be prepared for the election on November 8:

Tuesday, November 8 polls open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.

The registration deadline is October 11, and early voting begins October 12. Before Election Day, early voting comprises two Saturdays, the Sunday, and the Monday.

Mail-in absentee voting begins on October 12. Obtain information on how to request an absentee ballot if you will not be voting in person.

The ballot request deadline is November 5 at noon. Absentee ballots must bear a postmark by November 7 to be valid.

Absentee voting for military personnel overseas begins on September 23.
