Ohio man critically injured following a crash involving a motorcycle in Fairfield Township

Fairfield Township, Ohio – An investigation is currently underway in Fairfield Township, Ohio, about a motorcycle accident that resulted in serious injuries. According to the police, they arrived at the scene of the collision at 5:26 p.m. Saturday.

The accident took place in the 5700 block of Reigart Road, where police say a motorcycle that was being ridden by a single person had just exited out of Rentschler Forest MetroPark and was traveling southbound when the operator lost control, veered off the right side of the roadway, and entered what is described as a wooded area, according to a press release. The motorcycle was involved in a collision with another vehicle, which resulted in the death of the rider.

The operator of the motorcycle was reportedly brought to Fort Hamilton hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the police.

The Fairfield Township Police Department and the Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team are both now looking into the incident as part of their ongoing investigation.
