Ohio family found a coyote in their Trenton home, spent nearly an hour before it was discovered

TRENTON, Ohio – On Friday, a coyote managed to find its way inside an Ohio home, where it proceeded to hide out in the family’s toilet for about an hour before being discovered.

Officers were sent to a residence in Trenton at approximately 5:18 a.m. in response to calls that a family had discovered an animal in the toilet of their first-floor apartment, as reported by the Trenton Police department. According to the story, the family did not want to approach too close to the creature.

After serving his sentence, an Ohio man is taken into custody once more.

When the authorities arrived, they discovered an adult coyote hiding behind the bathroom commode. The animal had apparently entered the home through a front door that had been left open as the family was in the process of packing for a trip barely an hour earlier, as reported by the police. At one time, a member of the family went to use the restroom without even realizing that there was a coyote hiding inside.

The coyote was securely removed from the residence by the police officers and then released outside.

According to the statement made by the police, “As a reminder, our city is surrounded by rural and agricultural areas that these creatures call home.” “During the evening hours, please be mindful of tiny animals and pets, and do not hesitate to contact our office should you observe anything that seems unusual.”
