To get rid of a sore throat, you can also add a teaspoon of honey and the juice of one lemon to the warm barley water.

Barley can be used to make a healthy, natural mask for facial wrinkles. Boil 20 grams of barley grain in one liter of water until it becomes soft. Then it is mashed and squeezed well through cheesecloth. The resulting porridge is used as a face mask. Keep it on your face for about 20 minutes. Then remove and put compresses from the drained liquid on the face to stand for 10 minutes. At the same time, drink a cup of warm barley tea (the liquid that will remain). For ideal results, repeat this procedure three times a week.
