Northwestern High School employee arrested after allegations of sexual relations with a minor
OMAHA, Nebraska (Nebraska) — An employee at Northwestern High School has been arrested.
On Friday, the principal sent out a letter to families informing them that an employee identified in the sworn statement as Jarrell Williams had been arrested following allegations of alleged inappropriate contact with a minor.
According to the affidavit, the 16-year-old said during an interview that she had a sexual relationship with Williams. Police say he confessed to it.
When the school learned of the report, Williams was placed on leave and did not return.
Administrators say they are in the process of being fired.
Anyone with concerns about inappropriate behavior is asked to call Child Protective Services at 1-800-654-1999.

“Dear senior staff of the North-West and their families!
We inform you that law enforcement agencies have arrested a school employee for inappropriate contact with a minor. The person was placed on leave immediately after we learned of the report and remained on leave until a police investigation. We have cooperated and will continue to cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies.
Our top priority is always the safety and well-being of the students we serve. We take this very seriously. If you are ever concerned about inappropriate behavior, call Child Protective Services at 1-800-652-1999.
