Northeast Lincoln’s vape shop was burglarized three times in one month, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska) – A vape shop in northeast Lincoln was burglarized for the third time in a month on Saturday, police said.
At around 4 a.m., officers were dispatched to The Highest Cloud near 48th and Fremont Streets after an alarm went off.
When officers arrived, police said the front glass door was shattered and several vaping products were scattered on the floor.
In the security video, three people are seen breaking the glass in the front door and entering the store.
Once inside, the thieves took vaping products from the shelves before leaving the store.
Police estimate the building sustained approximately $1,050 in damage. Employees are working to establish how much merchandise has been stolen.
On March 2, thieves used a steel fence post to break into the vape shop. The two burglars stole about $100 worth of vaping products and caused $500 in damage to the building.
And on Feb. 11, two people broke into the store and took about $500 in merchandise and caused about $550 in damage, according to police.
