Nimitz High School students started fighting in the lunch line, officers who tried to separate the students are accused of using force

Dallas, Texas – Irving police are investigating an incident involving the use of force by officers who were intervening in a dispute at Nimitz High School.

Wednesday, according to authorities, many teenagers began fighting in the lunch line.

The school’s appointed officers intervened to break up the altercation.

The police are probing the use of force by officers to separate the detained youngsters for school personnel.

A social media video appears to show an officer slamming a kid against a cart before dragging him to the ground as he drags him away from a brawl.

The Irving police department has reportedly contacted the school district and a family member of one of the involved pupils.

While this is being investigated, one of the cops implicated will be transferred.
