News about The Crossroads development as site preparation progresses
OMAHA, Nebraska (Nebraska) – An update on the development of The Crossroads.
During a City Council hearing, Lockwood Development announced that it had demolished the entire lot near 72nd and Dodge, except for a small section near Target.
They are currently working on adding two eastbound turn lanes from Dodge to the project. The project will also widen portions of Dodge and Cass Streets.
The group approached the city council to review part of the redevelopment agreement.
As part of the project, in May they will start asphalting public streets, and in August they will finish laying paving slabs.
Building construction is scheduled to begin next year.
