Nebraska women’s basketball advances to the next round in the WNIT

LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska) — Nebraska is moving forward in the WNIT following a win against Missouri State at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Wednesday.

The Huskers beat Missouri State 74-65. Nebraska will now face winners Northern Iowa and Colorado State.

Sam Haiby led the Huskers offensive effort with 25 points. Isabelle Bourne had 16 more points and Jaz Shelley had 11 points, including three 3-pointers.

Nebraska shot 46% from the field, while also grabbing 36 rebounds.
