Nebraska woman sentenced to 15 years in prison for drug distribution and possession of a firearm in the Omaha area

Omaha, Nebraska – Nebraska woman will spend the next 15 years behind bars after she was found guilty and sentence on several charges, multiple outlets reported.

According to the available court records, the 34-year-old Jessica Anzaldo was arrested in 2019 and jailed ever since.

She was arrested when she sold 50 grams of meth to an undercover officer. Her home was later searched by the authorities and they found a quarter pound of meth, around 10 grams of heroin, and a gun.

When Anzaldo was booked in the corrections, officers searched her bag and they additionally found 25 grams of heroin.

Anzaldo later admitted to have been distributing the drugs over the course of the last six months.

She was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the drug charge and 5 years for possession of a firearm. After serving her time in prison, she will be required to do five years of supervised release.
