Nebraska State Patrol trooper found a cat in a ditch and saved her, the photos shared on social media are now going viral

OMAHA, Nebraska – Trooper K. McaAcy’s Thursday included “pawsing” part of his duties to rescue a stranded cat, illustrating the unpredictability of a day in the life of a Nebraska State Patrol Trooper.

The agency tweeted two adorable images of Trooper McAcy, who discovered the kitten in a ditch.

During a ride-along, he reportedly dubbed his new furry companion Winslow, after the closest town.

McAcy eventually brought Winslow to the animal shelter FurEver Home in Fremont.

There, Winslow will receive veterinary treatment and be lavished with affection by a team of devoted volunteers.

Eventually, she will be available for adoption.
