Nebraska softball gets victories in both games against the UN

LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska) — Nebraska softball won Wednesday in the doubleheader against UNO.

The Huskers beat the Mavericks 2-1 in game one and 11-3 in game two.

In the second game at Connie Claussen Field, the Nebraska offense dominated, with home runs by Billie Andrews and Mya Felder leading the Huskers with four RBIs.

Pitchers Sarah Harness and Courtney Wallace held off the Mavericks’ hitters, allowing just four hits the entire game.

Nebraska will now travel to Lawrence, Kansas for the Rock Chalk Challenge.
