Nebraska hosts Missouri in WNIT 1st round
LINCOLN, Nebraska (Nebraska) – The Nebraska women’s basketball team will play Missouri State at home in the first round of the Women’s National Invitational Tournament (WNIT).
The game is scheduled for Wednesday at 6:00 pm Central Time at the Pinnacle Bank Arena. Tickets can be purchased at the Nebraska Athletic box office on Huskers.com.
If Nebraska wins, it will advance to the second round game against Northern Iowa or Colorado State between March 18 and 21, with the date, time and place of that second round game to be determined.
This is the third straight postseason for the Huskers.
The Huskers (16-14) claimed an automatic Big Ten Conference bid on a 64-team field after finishing 8-10 in the league.
