Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen announces new NDOT director
LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska) – Governor Jim Pillen has selected a new director for the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Pillen announced Friday that he had appointed Vicki Kramer as director of NDOT.
“Vicki brings extensive experience in both the private and public sectors to continue to move our state’s transportation system into the 21st century,” Pillen said. “She will be a transformational leader at the Department of Transportation and is the person we need to accelerate completion of Nebraska’s vital four-lane highway system plan and deliver 21st century infrastructure across the state.”
Vicki Kramer previously served as Chief of Staff for Infrastructure Markets and Strategy for Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering. She also worked with NDOT from 2016 to 2020 in various roles.
Kramer’s appointment comes after former director John Selmer announced his retirement.
Earlier this week, Pillen announced Moe Jamshidi as acting director of NDOT to take over from Selmer as he seeks a permanent appointment.
