Naked Georgia man chases police after ambulance theft

A naked Georgia man has been arrested after he allegedly stole an ambulance and went on a jaunt Thursday night.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Bradley Jermaine Baker, 48, took over driving a blue and white ambulance where witnesses claimed he drove erratically with his headlights off in downtown Macon, Georgia.

Police said Baker was seen during a burnout in an ambulance.

Baker allegedly led the responding officers in pursuit before attempting to flee on foot.

According to a warrant obtained by The Macon Telegraph, Baker exited the ambulance “completely naked and in full view of the public in the parking lot”.

The warrant also alleges that Baker was under the influence of cocaine or spice.

Police were able to apprehend a nude suspect in the Eisenhower Parkway area.

The 48-year-old naked rider had a valid warrant in Bibb and Douglas counties.


The ambulance is stolen by Baker.
It is still unclear which agency owns the ambulance and how Baker allegedly managed to steal the emergency response vehicle.

Baker faces additional charges of driving under the influence of drugs, indecent behavior in a public place, driving with a suspended license, violating probation, theft by hijacking and running away, or attempting to flee from a police officer for a felony.

Officials did not say how Baker managed to get an ambulance.

The publication reported that Baker had previously been indicted in Florida for refusing to register as a sex offender for sex offenses he was charged with in 1997, resulting in a prison sentence of nearly three years for indecent assault and sexually beating a child under the age of 16. .

He is currently being held without bail at the Bibb County Jail.
