Mission: Service Award Presented to Omaha Veteran at Creighton Game
OMAHA, Neb. (Nebraska) — Berry Lowe presented a missionary service award to a local veteran at a Creighton game Tuesday.
Dr. Christopher Dix graduated from Creighton School of Dentistry before using his US Navy degree as a dental officer.
He was sent to the Middle East and treated everyone on an aircraft carrier, from the admiral to the pilots of the air wing.
Service is at the center of his worldview, but Dicks has also learned important lessons from his military service.
“It was a difficult time. There are tough times in life that we all need to be prepared for, cope with and weather the storm, and I think that taught me how to weather the storms in life. Crew,” Dikes said.
Fun fact about Deeks: He was recently an extra on the set of Top Gun: Maverick.
