Missing inmate returns to Lincoln Correctional Center hours after disappearing

LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska) – An inmate who was reported missing last week has returned to custody.
Corrections officials say Dakota Parrott, 30, turned himself in to authorities on Saturday morning.
Parrott was reported missing from Community Corrections Center – Lincoln just the day before.
He was taken to the Lincoln Welcome and Treatment Center after turning himself in.

The Nebraska Department of Corrections says Parrott did not return to the facility after doing his job on Friday.
His tracking device was reportedly removed near 48th and Sumner Streets.
