Mild start to the week
We have another very mild day in store, then the bottom drops and winter returns for a while. Temperatures will drop into the 40s for highs on Tuesday, then the 30s on Wednesday, then the 20s on Thursday! We try to warm up again as we head into the weekend. We have a chance of rain on Tuesday, a mixed rain/snow on Wednesday, then a chance of snow on Thursday.
Monday will start the working week with a spring touch. Highs will be in the upper 50’s with some 60’s possible!
If we see 60 degrees, it will probably be a little further south. It will be a little cooler out west with the Tri-Cities seeing lower and mid 50s. Still well above average!
Rain becomes likely on Tuesday and our temperatures begin to drop. Tuesday’s highs will be in the mid-40s. 30s with some winter precipitation possible Wednesday.
Precipitation will be significant for some of us on Tuesday. It will be possible from a quarter to almost an inch.
Then from late Wednesday to Thursday, then it becomes possible. Current pattern trends have the highest amounts in southeast Nebraska. We will be fine-tuning this forecast throughout the week!
