USA – Microsoft has introduced a new feature in its Times application called walkie-talkies (Walkie Talkie). This is a novelty that allows users to “turn” their smartphone or tablet into a more effective mobile communication device that works via mobile or Wi-Fi network.
This feature was announced two years ago. It appeared for Android in September 2020, and is now available for Zebra mobile devices, as well as the iPhone and iPad.
Apple also has its own walkie-talkie-like option from 2018, via FaceTime Audio.
