Methodist Physicians Clinic is offering this year’s flu vaccine at four locations around the metro in an easy drive-thru format

OMAHA, Nebraska — This year’s influenza vaccine is available in a convenient drive-thru style at each of the four locations that Methodist Physicians Clinic maintains in and around the metropolitan area.

According to a news release issued by Methodist, the following is how the program operates:
Patients are strongly advised to make an appointment in advance by calling the clinic. When that time comes, information regarding their insurance will be gathered.
• At the time of the patients’ appointments, their identification will be verified, and the influenza vaccination will be administered to them as they wait in the comfort of their own automobiles.
• The patient’s insurance provider will be invoiced, and the clinic will send bills to patients who choose to pay out of pocket. At the clinic, we will not be able to accept any kind of payment. A relatively short amount of time is required to complete the vaccination process.
