Man wearing ski mask shot dead in New York City apartment complex

Police said a man was hit by two gunmen wearing ski masks at a Harlem apartment complex on Sunday evening.

Around 9 p.m., the 24-year-old victim was shot in the torso at the St. Nicholas home at 200 West 131st St., according to the NYPD.

An ambulance responded and took him to a Harlem hospital, where he is in stable condition, police said.

The victim, who is known to police, was reportedly shot and killed by two masked men who fled the scene.

Police said they did not know what led to the shooting.

No arrests, investigation continues.
