Man suspected of vehicle break-ins in the Market Common Community arrested by authorities

MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina -After a number of vehicle break-ins on Sunday night, Myrtle Beach police have arrested a suspect.

Sunday night, officers were dispatched to the Market Common neighborhood to investigate multiple auto burglaries.

Police say cameras showed a man breaking into many automobiles in the Market Common neighborhood.

The guy was immediately identified by community members using images provided online from local home security systems.

Chief Amy Prock stated, “Our team is supported by a committed and engaged community that will not tolerate illegal behavior.” This is just another reason why Myrtle Beach is not a suitable location for criminal activity.

The suspect’s identity has not been disclosed; however, authorities have stated that his name and charges would be disclosed after formal charges have been filed.
