Man smashed windows at downtown business with skateboard, Lincoln Police say

LINCOLN, Nebraska – Thursday morning, the windows of a downtown shop were damaged without the use of a skateboard, according to Lincoln Police.

A witness observed a man using a skateboard to break into Top Shelf, which is located around 11th and O Streets, shortly after 12:30 a.m.

During the call, the witness described the suspect’s attire, according to authorities.

When authorities arrived, the shop was empty.

Later, neighboring authorities located a 33-year-old male who matched the caller’s outfit description.

According to authorities, he was also found with a skateboard and fresh cuts on his hands.

The individual was charged with criminal mischief, unlawful entry, and obstruction of a police officer.
