LPD: Driver critically injured after Lincoln crash in Northeast
LINCOLN, Nebraska (Nebraska). Lincoln police are investigating an accident that left one person hospitalized with very serious injuries in northeast Lincoln.
The accident happened late Thursday night, just before midnight, on Huntington Avenue, east of 41st Street, in a divided median. Apparently, the car crashed hard into a tree.
According to LPD Captain Duane Winkler, the female driver, who was the only passenger inside, was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The police are investigating the circumstances leading to the accident. Huntington Avenue is closed from 41st to 44th while the investigation is ongoing.
