LPD and Lincoln brewery honor fallen investigator with beer batch release

LINCOLN, Nebraska – On Friday, the Corn Coast Brewing Company and the Lincoln Police Department will release a beer batch in memory of Detective Mario Herrera.

In honor of Private Investigator Mario Herrera, the Herrera family created Batch #1205. LPD stated that $1 from each pint of Batch #1205 will be donated to Tunnel to Towers Foundation and presented at this month’s 5K run.

The Corn Coast Brewing Company describes the beverage as a light American ale with a 5% ABV.

The badge number for Investigator Herrera was #1205.

Friday’s event will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Corn Coast Brewing Company, located at 1433 Dahlberg Dr.

From 4 to 8 pm, Carolina Smoke BBQ will be at the event.
