Lincoln Police Department confirmed that someone stole nearly $9,000 worth of products in Verizon store Sunday morning

LINCOLN, Nebraska – Investigators have reason to believe that a Verizon store in south Lincoln was the target of a theft involving more than $8,000 worth of products.

A break-in was reported to have occurred at Verizon on Sunday morning about nine o’clock, and officers from the Lincoln Police Department were sent to the area off 30th Street and Pine Lake Road to investigate.

When staff arrived for work, they noticed that one of the ground-level windows had been damaged, a number of display cases had been broken into, and numerous electronic equipment had been taken. According to the LPD, these incidents occurred overnight.

According to the investigators’ estimates, the total amount of damage is $650, and the value of the missing product is $8,110.
