Lincoln man has died after crashing motorcycle in a car at Northwest 19th St and West “O” St Saturday afternoon
LINCOLN, Nebraska – Saturday afternoon, a motorbike vs automobile collision near Northwest 19th St and West “O” St claimed the life of a man from Lincoln. Lincoln Police Department continues to investigate.
According to Lincoln Police, the crash occurred around 2:26 p.m.
According to eyewitnesses, the biker was traveling westbound on West “O” Street when a car traveling southbound pulled out in front of him.
One motorist, a guy in his forties, was sent to a local hospital, where he later died, according to the LPD. The second driver walked away from the accident scene without serious injuries.
Between northwest 18th and 20th Streets, West O Street was closed for several hours.
This incident is still being investigated.
