Lincoln man arrested in child exploitation case
LINCOLN, Nebraska (Nebraska) — Investigators from the Nebraska State Patrol’s Tech Crime Unit, assisted by the Homeland Security Investigation (HSI) Division, have arrested a Lincoln man following a child exploitation investigation.
On Wednesday morning, investigators issued a search warrant at the home of 61-year-old Joseph Matziartz Jr. in Lincoln. NSP reported that the search found numerous items of child pornography.
Matziarz Jr. was arrested for possession and distribution of child pornography. Matziarz was placed in the Lancaster County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
