Lincoln man, accused of murdering his partner, has been arrested and charged, police

LINCOLN, Nebraska – Thursday, a homicide happened in a residence near North 65th Street and Madison Avenue, just east of Lincoln Northeast High School, according to the Lincoln Police Department.

At 14:41 on Thursday, officers responded to a check welfare call in which the caller reported a deceased person inside a property. Inside, officers located a 48-year-old male deceased.

A witness and 35-year-old Joshua Larsen of Lincoln were also present. According to the police, the victim and Larsen had an intimate relationship.

After interviewing Joshua Larsen and the witness and acquiring additional evidence, he was arrested for Murder in the Second Degree.

The investigators are constructing a timeline of events preceding the death.
