Lincoln inmate serving 6-10 years in Douglas County hasn’t returned to prison Friday after her job, reported missing

LINCOLN, Nebraska – A prisoner from the Lincoln Correctional Center is missing.

According to the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services, Tabitha Viktora, 36, did not return to her community work Friday evening.

Inmates at the Lincoln Community Corrections Center are permitted to attend school and religious services, and also have unsupervised employment possibilities.

According to the Department of Correctional Services, Viktora has a height of five feet, three inches and a weight of 170 pounds. She has dark brown hair and eyes. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts should call local police or the Nebraska State Patrol.

In Douglas County, Viktora was sentenced to six to ten years for attempted robbery. The estimated date of her release is January 14, 2023.
