Lincoln business was robbed, the damage estimated to be several thousands of dollars

Wednesday morning around 6:30, Lincoln Police were called to Midwest Steel on 7th and N Street to investigate a burglary.

“A company supervisor stated that arriving personnel discovered that the latch piece of a doorknob on the south side had been drilled out,” explains Sergeant Chris Vollmer.According to the police, a search of the firm revealed that numerous hand tools had been stolen.

The stolen tools are worth more than $5,600.
