Lawrence Anderson sentenced to life for killing uncle, 4-year-old child and woman whose heart he cut out and boiled
The Oklahoma man who pleaded guilty to killing three people and ripping out and boiling the heart of one of his victims, just weeks after he was mistakenly released from prison, was arrested, officials said. sentenced to life imprisonment.
Lawrence Paul Anderson pleaded guilty to multiple counts of murder, mutilation, assault and battery on Wednesday in connection with the brutal 2021 murders of Andrea Lynn Blankenship, 41, his uncle Leon Pye, 67, and Pye’s granddaughter, 4- Summer Keos Yeats. .
His aunt, Delsie Pye, 66, was injured in the attack.
Anderson avoided the death penalty in exchange for a guilty plea at the request of the families of the victims and instead was sentenced to life in prison, prosecutor Jason Hicks told reporters.
Relatives of the victims lashed out at the killer in court on Wednesday, and one of them told him to “rot from the inside,” local news channel KFOR reported.
Yeats’ mother, Tasha, made several impassioned victim impact statements read before Anderson’s sentencing, at one point yelling “Who’s killing the baby… who’s doing this?”

Hicks said the families of the victims do not want the case to go to trial.
“They don’t want to sit in the courtroom and listen to all the bloody details of what happened to their loved ones,” he said at a press conference after the verdict.
Anderson unleashed his horrific attacks in February 2021 — just weeks after his release from prison, when his 20-year drug-related sentence was commuted in response to an erroneous recommendation from the Oklahoma Board of Pardons and Parole.

According to authorities, he mortally wounded Blankenship after breaking into her home. He then removed her heart and took it with him to the Pai home.
According to investigators, he cooked the heart and tried to feed his relatives with it before stabbing and killing his uncle and Yeats. His aunt was repeatedly stabbed, but she survived.
