Kyrgios is not interested in the Davis Cup, and will not play for Australia
Nick Kyrgios has canceled his participation in the forthcoming Davis Cup, leaving the Australian tennis team once again without its finest player.
Kyrgios has not played for the national team since 2019, and his form is on the increase as he reached the finals at both Wimbledon and Washington this season.
Alex De Minor and Thanasi Kokkinakis will represent Australia at the 2018 Davis Cup, while Matthew Ebden and Max Purcell will compete in doubles.
From September 13 to 18, Australia will play Germany, France, and Belgium in Hamburg.
