Knife fight puts NYC cops in hot water: sources

An NYPD police officer was taken to a Kings County hospital after he was stabbed by another officer at a police station in Brooklyn, and the department’s Bureau of Internal Affairs is currently investigating the incident, police sources said.

Both officers were on duty when one officer assaulted the other after an altercation in the 73rd precinct shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday, the sources said.

Sources said the wounded officer was being treated for a cut on his left hand. The motive for the incident is unknown, sources said.
