Grammy-nominated composer Andy Akiho will join the Omaha Symphony for the world premiere over two nights at the Holland Center March 17-18.
Andy Akiho is a pioneer of modern classical music. His specialty? He plays the mean steel pan.
With a little help from friends at the Omaha Symphony, these two evenings are dedicated to Jun Kaneko. The 80-year-old visual artist from Omaha has spent decades creating ground-breaking abstract art in clay.
Tickets range from $20 to $81, with student discounts. Shows start at 7:30 pm every evening.
