Julian Lennon will sell Beatles souvenirs as irreplaceable tokens

John Lennon’s son Julian has started bidding for items that will be sold as irreplaceable tokens as part of the Lennon Connection: The Beatles NFT Collection.

NFTs are sold as audio-visual collectibles along with Julian’s narrative that will go along with the images of the items.

The sale includes items such as the black gown John Lennon wore in “Help!” As well as Paul McCartney handwritten notes for “Hey Jude.”

However, potential bidders are reminded that the souvenirs on sale are the only blockchain tokens – the real coat, McCartney’s physical notes and all other original items will remain the property of Julian Lennon.

“Through this NFT collection, I can give exclusive access to the special items I nurture and carry on my father’s legacy in a new way,” commented Julian.

The items are being sold in partnership with auction house Julian’s and Yellow Heart NFT.

According to the official explanation, the objects are brought to life in an even more political way through the exclusive audio narration of Julian Lennon, which was created as part of the NFT.

“NFT is the only and irreplaceable unit of data stored on the blockchain,” the auction house said.

“Julian Lennon is the sole owner of the physical object. “The winner of this item will participate in that exclusivity in Lennon’s history as the sole owner of the NFT.”

The online auction will take place on February 7, although bidding and registration have already begun.
