Iowa man, wanted for a domestic disturbance, was arrested in Fremont County after allegedly taunting the authorities on social media

FREMONT COUNTY, Iowa – An individual who was wanted for causing a disturbance at the home in Iowa was taken into custody after reportedly insulting the police on social media.

On September 7, Jeremy Rhoades, who is 23 years old, was taken into custody, as reported by the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office.

Rhoades was wanted for questioning in connection with a domestic incident that took place in Hamburg, Iowa, in the month of June 2022.

According to the allegations, Rhoades left the state and immediately started insulting law enforcement on social media. Rhoades was taken into custody by the Missouri Highway Patrol and sent to Iowa to face the accusations he is facing there.

Rhoades is being accused of domestic violence (causing bodily injury) and violating the terms of his probation. He had a bond set at $6,000 while he was being held.
