Iowa man killed in Corning plane crash on Monday, report

CORNING, Iowa — According to reports from the Iowa State Patrol, an airplane crash in Iowa resulted in the death of one guy.

An airplane took off from Adams County Airport, which is located close to Corning, on Monday at approximately 12:38 PM. According to the police, there was only one adult male passenger on board.

According to the reports, the plane collided with a power line when it was taking off. According to ISP, medical personnel at the scene confirmed the pilot’s death.

Due to the fact that notification of next of kin is still being made, the person’s name is not being made public at this time.

Both the Iowa State Patrol and the FAA are continuing their investigation into the tragedy at this time.
