Inmate goes missing at Lincoln Community Correctional Facility

LINCOLN, Nebraska (Nebraska) – Community Correctional Center. The Lincoln inmate removed his electronic surveillance device this afternoon and did not return to the facility, according to the Nebraska Department of Corrections.

The NDCS said they received an alert that Christopher Foster removed his electronic surveillance device Wednesday afternoon near South Coddington Avenue and West “A” Street in Lincoln.

Foster began serving his sentence on January 5, 2021. He was sentenced to terms of four to six years for possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person from Douglas County. It has a tentative release date of August 15, 2023.

Foster is a 36-year-old white male, 5’11” and 170 pounds. with brown hair and blue eyes. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.
