Inmate goes missing at Lincoln Community Correctional Center

LINCOLN, Nebraska (Nebraska) – Police were notified of a missing inmate from the Community Correctional Center in Lincoln Friday afternoon.

Dakota Parrot, 30, is believed to have put away his electronic monitor near South 48th Street and Sumner Street after leaving work early Friday morning.

On October 19, 2018, Parrot began serving a 5-6 year sentence. He was charged with using a firearm to make felony and terrorist threats in Douglas County, and driving with a revoked license in Lancaster County.

Parrott’s estimated release date is September 20, 2024, with a parole hearing scheduled for June 2023.

Parrot is a 5’8″ white male, weighing 160 pounds, with strawberry blond hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Lincoln Police or the Nebraska State Patrol.
