Info for Omaha drivers: These are the constructions spots in the city of Omaha and surrounding areas

Effective 30 September 2022

The 20th St exit on eastbound 480 is closed as of 10/8.

At various locations between Chandler and the 480/I-80 junction, 75/JFK construction will impede northbound and southbound lanes. Access denied from 80WB to SB JFK (follow the detours) F St off-ramp is restricted to 480 traffic; however, F St is open to 80 EB traffic. Essentially, anticipate delays and adhere to the detours.

State Street is closed between Highway 133/Blair High Road and 120th Turnaround.

Center is reduced to one lane in each direction between 150th and 165th as of 11/7.

Highway 2 from Lincoln. Head to Head, 96th to 134th Streets (TFN)

Various lane limitations exist along HWY 2 from Lincoln to Nebraska City at various spots (about 9 miles) (10/31)

South of Lincoln, on HWY 77 near Saltillo Rd, there are lane limitations (TFN)

HWY 50 south of Syracuse is undergoing lane limitations on 10/15

Several construction zones exist on I-34 between Glenwood and I-71 in Iowa (10/28).

29 Southbound Lane Restriction at Pacific Junction in Iowa (10/24)

29 in both directions at Hamburg (near the Missouri state line) (10/3).

Work restrictions on southbound 75 at HWY 34 (north side of Plattsmouth) on 11/1.

34/75 south of Plattsmouth: one mile of head-to-head traffic at Mynard/Horning Road (November 2023)

ramp FROM 29 SB TO 480 WB is closed (detour: 29SB to 80WB then 480 NB) This will be unavailable until July 2023.

I-29: lane limitations, closures, and ramp closures in both directions between HWY 30 (Missouri Valley) and I-80 (Council Bluffs). Follow detours.

10/15: Murray Road is closed east of US-34/75.

South of Harrison, from 180th Avenue (Gertrude Street) to Giles, 180th Street is closed.

Giles is shut between 180th and 185th

Cornhusker is closed between 181st and 188th Streets

36th south of Capehart is impeded by ongoing road construction; use 25th St. This roadwork ON 36th has closed a number of roadways just off 36th to the east and stretches nearly to HWY 370.

At the intersection of 370 and 150th Street, there will be lane limits in both directions for signal installation and turn lane installation. Then, limitations ON 150th Street. Completed by the end of November.

At the intersection of Highway 50 and Platteview Road, there are lane limitations (10/5)

The westbound right lane of Harrison Street is restricted from Brookridge Drive to Winslow (about 128th to 131st) on October 4th.

At 142nd Street westbound, the right lane is closed (10/1).

Pacific 120th to 124th inside left lanes are restricted in both directions as of October 5

I Street is closed from 1-80 to 102nd on 12/31.

The southbound 72 Rose Blumkin to Pacific far left lane is closed on October 1st.

Q Street is closed between 60th and 61st on 10/15.

Towards the eastbound Leavenworth at the 38th lane restriction (as of 10/12)

Park Avenue southbound between Pacific and Mason restricted (10/5)

The left northbound 156th Street lane at Binney Street (approaching Maple at the entrance to Huntington Park) is closed on October 1st.

Restrictions on southbound 72nd approaching Maple at Spencer (10/1)

Westbound Blondo is restricted at the 90th lane (10/13)

Center from a few blocks west of 90th to Paddock RD, there are lane limits in both directions (10/5)

168th lane limitations between Center and Oak on October 17

From Decatur (just south of Blondo) to Burt Cir (the three-way intersection outside the White Oak convenience store), 108th Street is closed until November 2023.

Fort St. westbound lanes at 90th are single-direction (10/13)

The 67th closed Bedford to Wirt in Benson (10/10).

In Benson, 69th Bedford to Emmet was closed on October 3

Various Cass lane limits between 74th and 77th (10/26)

From Dodge STREET (Between Methodist and Children’s) south to Farnam, 84th is CLOSED (Nov 2022)

Dodge STREET work continues in both directions from 84th to 77th (between Methodist Hospital and Children’s)

The westbound right lane of Dodge between 75th and 76th is closed (10/5)

The closure of Ames Ave from 87th to Boyd St on 12/15 (residential road)

65th Ames to Fowler is closed on November 15

The right westbound Ames lane at 65th is closed on October 17

6/2023: The section of 29th Street between Blondo and Burdette (behind Charles Drew Health Center) is closed for sewer replacement.

Various lane limitations on HWY 36/McKinley between Mormon Bridge Rd (48th St/HWY 75) and HWY 133/Blair High Road (10/5)

The right eastbound lane of Abbott Drive at Lindbergh (north side of the airport) is closed on 10/3.

Only one lane is open on NB Abbott Drive in front of the Airport Parking Garage on 10/13.

16th Street between Clark (about 6 blocks north of Cuming Street) and Pinkney (approximately 6 blocks north of Locust Street) will have lane limits until June 2024.

Nicholas St was closed between 11th and 14th on 12/19.

18th to 17th limits for Howard and Harney (10/6

Lane limitations on 18th and 17th Howard to Harney on October 6

EB Jackson 18th to 17th lanes are restricted on September 29

12th St is closed from Dodge to Capital (11th has lane limits here as well), and Capital 11th to 12th has lane restrictions (March 2023)

Westbound Dodge lanes 20 to 24 are restricted on 11/9

11/6: 15th St Dodge to Douglas is closed, and there are traffic limitations from Douglas to Farnam.

Northbound 13th Street between Pacific Street and Leavenworth Street at the railroad bridge; right lane closed for sewer maintenance on September 30.
