Indicates wind change and warmer weather
The highs in the 20s and 30s on Saturday just looked like teens with a wind chill. The clouds have finally broken away from the morning and we will continue to clear skies through the night. With that and the wind abating, Sunday is going to be a cold start. Low temperatures will drop into single digits, so with any wind it won’t take long to feel below freezing for a while on Sunday morning.
The warming trend begins on Sunday, despite a biting cold in the early morning. The winds are finally returning from the south and will gust up to 30 mph throughout the day and continue through the night into Monday. With that, spring seems to start in the 60s.
There will be a slight cooling on Tuesday with the possibility of light rain. Light rain is possible early Tuesday before another surge brings chances for the evening as well. Scattered chances of rain then end most of Wednesday. At this point, a break in precipitation is expected until Wednesday night.
The chances of rain look to persist through Thursday, but daytime temperatures will remain in the 50s. Let’s hope spring is here to stay.
