Gunman fires into NYC restaurant, killing 1 and wounding another

Video shows the moment a gunman opened fire at a Brooklyn restaurant in broad daylight Thursday — killing one man and gravely injuring another, according to cops. 

Footage obtained by The Post shows a man firing into the doorway of Miguel’s West Indian Restaurant in Brownsville at around 8:50 a.m. — and another person running out of the eatery seconds later.

A 46-year-old man, identified as Eyon Johnson, was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he died of his injuries, police said. The other victim, 45, was listed in critical condition at the Kings County Hospital Center.

Two people — one in a dark sweatshirt and the other wearing a lighter-colored one — were seen going into the restaurant on Strauss Street near Lott Avenue before the shooting, according to the video.

The pair stepped out — which is when the one in the lighter shirt appeared to shoot inside, before both of them ran off.

Sources say the suspects got into a black SUV, which is shown in the clip driving away from the restaurant after the shooting. 

The motive for the shooting was not immediately known. No arrests have been made.

Seventeen shell casings were recovered, police sources said.
