Grand Island teenager arrested following vehicle theft with dog inside

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (Nebraska) – A Grand Island teenager was arrested Sunday night after stealing a vehicle with a dog in the back seat.

According to GIPD, the incident occurred in the car park of Coffin’s Corner petrol station on North Eddy Street at about 9.50pm. Police spotted the vehicle twice after the crash, but the 15-year-old teenager escaped both times.
