Grand Island Casino Resort is seeking workers; a temporary casino will open at Fonner Park at the end of the year
GRAND ISLAND, Nebraska – In Fonner Park, a temporary casino will open towards the end of the year. The permanent casino is anticipated to open in 2024.
However, who will work there? Grand Island Casino Resort will begin organizing career fairs on September 28 to find out. In October, there will also be career fairs.

The temporary gambling establishment will feature 300 slot machines. The full resort will feature a 24-hour casino with sports betting, a 116-room hotel, a first-class spa, a variety of dining options including Ruthie’s Steak & Seafood on the top floor, live weekend entertainment, and a 1,500-seat event center that hosts national entertainment, meetings, and conventions.
