General Mark Milley tests positive on Covid-19

The Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Army, General Mark Millie, is positive for the coronavirus and is in isolation from where he performs his duties.

Millie’s last contact with US President Joseph Biden took place on January 12 at the funeral of retired General Raymond Odiern, the Pentagon said in a statement.

General Millie was negative for the coronavirus a few days ago and every day after contact with President Biden until yesterday, said a spokesman for the US Department of Defense, noting that the general was vaccinated with a third dose.

A Pentagon spokesman confirmed that all but one of the US military’s chiefs of staff had tested negative.
