Fundraising for the March Madness bracket for the Lincoln Junior League

LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska) – In the spirit of March Madness, a buster party was held at Alchemy Aqua Vitae in the Haymarket.

The Junior League of Lincoln hosted the event as a fundraiser to help fund projects that help local communities.

“It’s really important to us because the Junior League of Lincoln is a non-profit organization and without everyone’s help we can’t be successful,” said Hannah Norman, the former president of the Junior League of Lincoln organization.

“We can’t help but put diapers on babies. We can’t help but get some clothes for high school students. We can’t help young people get out of foster care or anything for their homes. So we need funds, we need fundraisers to help us do that.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will help fund Diaper Bank, Clothesline, Homestart and The Little Black Dress Initiative.

For more information and if you would like to contribute to these projects, visit the Junior League of Lincoln website.
