Fun in Omaha: Local residents can feel the Halloween fun at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo, starting this weekend

OMAHA, Nebraska  — This weekend, Halloween festivities will begin at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo. The Ghouls and Glow event returns this year, and zoo officials say there’s more to discover.

More regions of the zoo, including Glacier Bay and Fisherman’s Landing, will participate in the festivities. The “Very Important Ghoul” program provides guests with the utmost experience. Dennis Schnurbusch, senior vice president of operations, stated that tourists will receive more park time, goodie bags, and attraction tickets.

Schnurbusch added that the zoo had not forgotten about the adults. This year marks the debut of seasonal alcoholic beverages for adults on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Additionally, Late Nights at the Zoo events will return for the season.

“Our Ghouls and Glow late-night edition will take place on Thursday, October 13 and October 20,” he stated.

This weekend, October 7th through the 9th, and the following weekend, October 14th through the 16th, Ghouls and Glow will begin. It will run from the 21st to the 30th of October.
